• Day 3-4: Journey to the Amazon via land & boat then set up camp in a remote location.
• Days 4-9: Trek through diverse ecosystems and see a vast array of undiscovered flora, fauna, tribes, birds & animals.
• Day 10-11: Return to civilisation, reflecting on your unforgettable adventure.

Requirements:

• Physical Fitness: The trek is physically demanding, requiring a good level of fitness and endurance. You should be able to comfortable walk 20k steps per day over uneven terrain. You should be familiar with uphill & downhill walks.

• Proper Equipment: Ensure you have the necessary gear, including sturdy hiking boots, rain gear, insect repellent, and a comfortable backpack.

• Expert Guidance: Our team of qualified local guides & boatmen are familiar with the restricted zone and its regulations. Please ensure that you adhere to their instructions and guidance throughout.

Itinerary

Day 1  

Arrive in Cusco & relax at our hotel. You will have a briefing the Amazon Adventure. 

Day 2

Breakfast and tour of the Sacred Valley. Lunch will be provided.

Day 3  

Early morning pickup for our Amazon Adventure. You will carry your backpack  – all extra luggage will be stored. 

Day 4-9 

Amazon Adventure

Return to Cusco

Accommodation:

Our accommodation in Cusco is a beautiful, Incan hotel.

And accommodation on treks are tents, lodgings with local tribes & sleeping platforms.

You get to experience the open sky & hear the sounds of the Peruvian jungle

Meals:

All food is local, organic & nutrigenomic. Prepared onsite by our in-house chefs.

Fresh, nutritious & delicious. Enjoy farm to table gourmet dinners and energising, nutritious brunches.

We will also use natural nootropics – plant substances that increase cognitive function. This can include your mood, productivity or attention span.

Breakfast & Lunch will be provided daily & all meals will be provided on the treks.
Dinner will not be provided on the 3 nights that we stay in Cusco. A list of restaurants will be provided. This will give you a chance to explore the culinary delights of Cusco.

This retreat will be led by Dr Nitasha Buldeo & her team of experienced guides.

Nitasha trained with the Peruvian Quero Shamans & has spent considerable time in the Amazon Rainforest trekking with shamans & meeting the indigenous tribes.

Darwin,, Herman & team will join us on our Amazon adventure, The boating team have been navigating these waters for over 35  years & our team of chefs understand the edible flora & fauna of the jungle. You will be invited to try wild herbs & tribal delicacies.
